Farm Food Finder is free for shoppers and farms. We don’t sell your information.
Accounts
When you create a Shopper or Farmer account we store your name, email, account type and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password). We use a sign-in cookie (secure, http-only) to keep you logged in, and a security cookie to protect forms. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Shopper accounts store the farms you follow and the “Tell me when it’s ready” alerts you set. Farmer accounts store the farm listings you manage, your Fresh today posts, photos you upload and any featured-placement requests. Anything you put on your farm listing (write-up, photos, prices, hours, public contact details) is public.
Farm claims
Verification details you give when claiming or adding a farm are private and only used to confirm you own or manage the farm.
We email you only for account confirmation, password resets and alerts you ask for.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, remove follows and alerts, or permanently delete your account any time from My account. Deleting removes your account, follows and alerts; a farm listing stays on the map but is unlinked from you (you can ask us to remove it).
Other
Advertising enquiries are kept so we can reply. Maps use OpenStreetMap. Some links may be affiliate links; we’ll label them.
